I'm due to have this done tomorrow. However I've just had an unexpected period start and it's heavy. I'm paranoid about leaking or a pad showing. How high does the doppler go. If it's past shorts length I'd feel more comfortable to cancel for a week or into the NY. If it's just lower legs I'd feel more comfortable
Sorry for the tmi but it's made me anxious about it all now

You can't cancel an appointment and add to waiting lists for that. IF you do leak or a pad does show then the doctor isn't going to care. For a start they'll be professional, they are also adults who are aware of periods or may even get them themselves or have a wife who does. Lastly, they are a doctor. They've gone through all the same training of finger-up-bums, vaginal-examinations, cleaning up blood, surprise poo, mucus dribbling messy patient-facing experiences as everyone else. A pad aint gonna register.

My doppler went to my upper thigh. Don't cancel. Go anyway. They won't bat an eyelid.

OK. I won't cancel. The waiting list wasn't long to be honest 2 weeks I've waited . But I shall definitely go. Thank for making me see sense.
