My mother had an endless supply of them!

Bath cubes/salts, I always bought my mum these for Christmas

they never properly dissolved though so there was always a gritty residue at the bottom of the bath, which you sat on

I remember how slippery they made the bath and the horrible floral scent.

And the lace doily mat.. haven't saw one of those in decades.

Used to give them to my grandmother!

Lace doilies, what about those antimacassar things that went on your grandparents sofa to stop hair oil damaging the material of the sofa ?
