Yes it’s an attempt at ASMR I think but it has the opposite effect on me.

Nigella's shows are particularly bad for this. The sounds seem exaggerated and unreal. I don't notice it so much with other programmes.

Yup. Watching most stuff on mute if I watch anything like that. Either this or that fucking annoying AI voices🙄

Absolutely - wine glugging is horrible.

I can't stand that noise or that of tea being poured into a cup. Both noises make me irrationally angry!

Did you know they pour something in every single episode of The Crown? Made me want to scream.
