Cold sore or chapped lips?

DD has had dry lips for a few days and she’s picked them. Starting to wonder if it is dry lips or if she has a cold sore. Nobody in our family has cold sores. Photo attached. Any thoughts?
Obviously, I’ll take her to a pharmacy tomorrow.

Yep chapped lips and she's picked a bit of skin off.

Blistex cream is really good for this. Or carmex lip salve

Pop a bit of Sudocrem on last thing before sleep.

Gone by the next day then. Job done.
