I just ordered something on eBay from Australia. I don’t often shop with eBay and just realised it is being sent to my old address and I can’t cancel the order. My mistake.
The problem is I fled my last address after DV, and the perpetrators still live there. So I’m more scared that anything of mine will be delivered there and whether that may prompt contact. I’m not fussed about the item itself as it’s still on sale and I can always repurchase it. But for safety reasons I don’t want to simply ignore the delivery as I can’t really put it in the back of my mind.
Any advice?
As it’s coming from Australia, it won’t be here soon. There might be customs fees (though I doubt it as it is low value).
With certain couriers like DPD, I could change the delivery to a pickup. I’m not sure what courier would be used here.
if it’s Royal Mail, I could try and set up a mail redirection? Any thoughts would be appreciated
