21st birthday parties

Not asking for ideas but just want to hear about how you celebrated your DC's 21st birthday party!

For us we had a big house party. DC's uni friends and school friends came and they all had a great time.

We didn't, particularly.

18th is when you 'come of age' and has been for decades.

I mean, we will often go out for a meal, if they are around, for any birthday, but 21sts, they would all have been away at University so not living with us.

Both ours were at uni for theirs. We went to dinner when they were back home. We went to the Ivy Asia for Dd's and a lovely local restaurant for DS's.

Took my DC away for each of their 21sts

We didn't have any parties.

One was living abroad and had a night out there, the other was elsewhere in the UK and also went out with friends.

Nope. Own homes and lives at that stage.
