Santa will leave their presents up a tree where they can’t reach them if he sees they have been naughty

My pet peeve but perhaps a little unfair - it's bloody irritating how they change their mind on what they want Santa to bring.

I ordered presents online last week based on the latest Christmas list only for my DS to give Santa a completely different list at the sodden, freezing cold grotto we went to yesterday.

When I queried this, I was told "It's ok Mummy, good thing I haven't written my letter to Santa yet ha ha!"

Prisonpillow · 07/12/2024 21:52

Yes. I don’t make a big thing of Christmas and they’re good kids but every year I get to this point and then remember ‘oh yeah, I get the listening / behaviour chart out pretty much this time every year to sort it out’. And then I feel better again.

Both mine have early December birthdays too so further exacerbates things.

No.my daughter loves Christmas but doesn't get giddy. She would have the decorations up all year tho and there are never enough

Also teacher. It's been a long Autumn Term.
My pupils ( Secondary) have had eight assessments in KS3 and mock mocks at KS4.
State school too.

I feel so sorry for you! My DS teacher said the same. We've still got a few weeks yet! 🤦🏻‍♀️

When I wrote long I meant length of the term .
