Should I drive today?

DS has an activity half an hour away and we live rurally so there's woods to drive through. There's a yellow weather warning and the wind is really strong out there. There are already reports on Facebook of trees down.

Would I be a wuss to stay home?

No, the advice is to stay home.

Amber here and we’re not going anywhere until it settles down. DD also missing an activity.

If there are trees down won't some roads be impassable?
What's the activity?
Maybe it's been cancelled?
I wouldn't be going out if I had a choice.
I m worried about adult dd who s not long passed her test out in it later but she is a police call handler so has to go to work.

It's not cancelled, it's just an indoor sport, he goes every week.

Yes it's possible some roads might be closed though there's always a way around, I just feel like it's not very safe to go out and wondered if I was being ridiculous.
