What to include in DIY hamper?

I want to make a hamper as a Thank You gift for a 3 generation family and looking for suggestions of what to include. I don't know them especially well (they've been our landlords / neighbours for a while and have been extremely good to us in testing circumstances) so need to be fairly generic. I'm pretty sure the adults drink red wine so a nice bottle, a Christmas scented candle or diffuser from a local maker, some posh biscuits, maybe a jar of local salted caramel, but I'm stuck now... I'll be giving it to them next week so can be festive themed. There are 4 adults and 2 children under 8 in the family.

What would you put in (or be delighted to receive in) a nice festive hamper?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, that already sounds lovely.

How about maybe some bath bombs? Chocolate selection/bags of sweets/fancy biscuits, a few Christmas crackers maybe. Fluffy socks? I remember making one for someone years ago and putting flavoured coffee jars and a different selection of fruit tea bags. I also added a bonsai plant because said person always wanted one.

Good luck!
