I got inspired from another thread on here where a poster had seen a UFO.

Has anyone seen a UFO?

It doesn't specifically mean that you saw an alien craft, which is what people used to popularly use the term UFO for.

UFO is just something that you didnt know what it was - in the sky.

Have you ever seen anything unusual in the sky that you couldn't identify as an aeroplane?

I'll start. I've seen a disc shaped object in the sky, twice in my life. In different places.

No, but I have second-cousins who successfully made fake ones many years ago.

Not a UFO but a blazing light came up above and behind me walking along a country lane with a friend. No noise. It was pitch black except for this dazzling light. Not a car.

In the late 1970s me and my boyfriend now DH were travelling down a country lane.
This lane was between his village and mine. We knew everyone in both villages. 30 houses in my place and 25 in his.
Unless you were from either place you wouldn't know the lane was there. 100 metres long.
We had to pass a chapel and saw a very large thing in the sky lit up like a Christmas tree not a sound came from it.
We stopped and so did a car from the other way.
They got out and we didn't know who they were. DH spoke to them and asked where they were saying they didn't answer just smiled and got back in their car.

Never saw them before or after. We told our parents and grandparents.
Dhs granddad said he knows what we have seen as he saw it when he was a lad.

Yes. Beautiful summer late afternoon clear blue sky and I was in the park with DD5. She was on the seesaw and I happened to look up at the sky.
About 70 yards away I saw a dark grey metallic ball suspended perfectly still in the sky. Hard to say what size, basketball I guess.
It was very surreal. Totally silent and perfectly still. I took my sunglasses off for a better look and it wasn't there. I have very good eyesight and looked absolutely everywhere. Never saw it again. Somebody suggested it may have been visible because of my polarised lenses.
The strange thing is that many, many people have had this exact sighting all over the world. I did a bit of digging online and have seen photos of the exact thing I saw. No idea what it was but it was very surreal and I'll never forget it. I think whatever it was it was monitoring us

Watching the Christmas fireworks there were green lights in the sky which would disappear and reappear in a different place. DS said it was a drone

Twice.

first time was lights flying in kite formation. I think it was probably satellites but this long predated star link.

Second was like a bubble suspended in the air. It looked like an oxygen bubble in a fish tank but it wasn’t moving vertically, it was just sitting there.

A few years back I was walking the dog and a smallish orb floated past us. She jumped and chased and it went up in the air, got bigger and bigger circling us and then, pop. It was gone. Never seen anything like it.

I’ve had 2 experiences one was very traumatic I posted about it under another name once . The first experience was just seeing something strange which I assume was a ufo as it was a huge but silent rapidly moving object which also appeared somehow fluid ? The second incident a few months later was utterly terrifying I’d had what I thought was a dream where I was pulled abruptly from my bed in the air and through my house and outside to an area nearby, in the dream I was hurt from this due to friction and the ground / branches. I then had part of this ‘dream’ where I was pulled back through the kitchen (this pulling was by an unseen force not any kind of creature) and I remember having this moment of clarity seeing some things in the kitchen in particular a mark by the kettle and thinking I have to remember that as this is real. The next day I felt unwell and when I went to the kitchen I saw the mark and remembered it all and found I was covered in marks and bruises. I was a teenager and I didn’t tell anyone I was too scared . I have no idea what happened but something did

I've had the weirdest dreams too.

My mum also had a dream - that she walked out into our hall and saw me floating out of her window.

I sometimes think that people do things to us at night, then they do something to our minds to make us think it's a dream.

But the people that I saw in my "dreams" doing experiments on people, were humans not aliens.

I think the government or some scientific company are doing some project at night time, where they take humans out of their homes and do something to them.

It sounds far fetched, but they have very advanced technology these days,

and so many people have had memories of being taken from their homes at night.

I never had a ‘dream’ like it before or after it was a complete one off but given how I ‘dreamt’ about being hurt in certain ways then to find those injuries on me and the mark by the kettle . I still refer to it as a ‘dream’ not because I think it might be but because I very much at the time knew if I allowed myself to face reality that I would be terrified and something just kicked in maybe my mind protecting me ? I rarely if ever talk about it and I only have on here twice. It was definitely something but although terrifying I felt a complete sense that it was a one off ?

I had a very clear 'dream' about being abducted.

In the dream, I was sucked out of my window.

Next thing, I was standing with a line of people in a hall.

I fell over onto the ground. I was conscious but I didn't want to get up, as i was scared to open my eyes and look. So I just laid there. I heard a mans voice say "don't leave them all standing there". And someone picked me up off the floor.

Then i felt someone lift my right arm and let it drop. It felt like they were testing my reflexes to see if I was awake or not.

Next thing I was sitting in a science lab.

And I was talking to two humans that worked in this place.

It felt like they had given me some drug or something to not freak out. Because If I'd had my full senses I would have said "where on earth am i". But I was just chatting to them normally.

It was a man and a woman. I said to the man "oh have you been working here long". And he said "I just graduated from University".

And then I turned to the woman and said "what do you think of working here".

And she said, "there's no need for it".

I felt by the way she said this statement that she felt it was wrong to take people from her homes. And that she felt there was no need to to it. She looked a bit guilty.

Then she said to me "we will take you home now soon".

And then I was back in my bed.

I remember it so clearly!

Yes I know what you mean about feeling ‘sucked’ out as I was just suddenly aware of rapid movement and being pulled through the air and down and out of the house but I never saw anyone or anything

I remember when I woke up and felt just awful and unwell and thinking what a terrible night what bad dreams

There's definitely weird shit going on at night

I definitely wouldn't put it past some of the scientific companies to come and take people at night time and do experiments on them

I was taken from my bed as a child and high up into the sky. I was able to see the stars and there was very little light. I was suddenly then whooshed back to my bed.

I woke up in a very strange position and felt like I had been stuck like that for a long time and I was in pain as a result. Like I had been anaesthetised and then just dropped.

It was really weird and I have thought about it many tines over the years.

Last year, I saw a peculiar shaped craft in an upright position against a cloud. I couldn't believe my eyes and I stood and watched it as it gradually sunk horizontally into the cloud. I went into the house to get DH to look at it too but by the time he got to the garden, it had fully disappeared into the cloud leaving a vague shape of the original craft on the cloud.

DH did believe me as I am not prone to this sort of thing. It was strange.

This is so similar to my experience. I think I would have written it off as a dream but for the fact I had marks and other factors but I also felt unwell when I woke up and it really was as you describe like post anaesthesia feeling ? I didn’t have a GA till I was in my 20s so prior to that I had no reference point for how I felt the morning after

I've never seen an UFO but I have seen a really old ship in the sea infront of other people that couldn't see it at all.
I thought they were winding me up until they started responding as if I was having a medical episode or something, the ship was very very clear and not even far away.

It was weird.

yes when i was 14years old was with a friend we was walking to a friends & i swear now was a massive round shaped object in the sky just above battersea power station with lots of lights me & my friend literally ran back home, i bumped into that friend a few years ago & she said do you remember seeing that spaceship i was shocked but so relieved she remembered, no one ive told has ever believed me & frankly don't blame them but this wasnt a light or disk shape far away this was massive & enough to scare us & over 35years ago & its always stuck in my head

Yes once in 1983 when I was onboard a ship for the Tall Ships Race. I was just mooching looking out to see and saw a mix of green and white lights dart around the sky at speed, followed by 'something' that hovered above the horizon next to the lights. Then around 30 years later I started having the weirdest scariest dreams where I was being pulled upwards. I was then lying down in a clinical white room being 'examined'. Since then I've had the most terrifying dreams where I am being pulled up or hovering and I panic and can't breathe. I'm being pulled along. It's horrific.

Not me but a friend who is as sound as can be.

He was ploughing a field late at night using lights. He was listening to the radio and was nearly done when the lights and radio failed and he was sitting there in the dark.

He decided to have a cigarette and try the key again when he was done and as his eyes adjusted to the dark he was able to see a faintly glowing object about ten feet across. It was about forty feet away from him and it was basically a disc on the ground.

The longer he sat there the more afraid he was and he felt like he was getting a very mild electric shock. He said he had a hat on and had he taken it off, he believed his hair would have stood up a bit. He would normally open the door of the tractor to let the smoke out but he was too scared to.

After a few minutes the disc raised up slowly and moved away until it was out of sight and the lights and the radio came back on. He finished up the job and went home. He didn't tell anyone for over a year but he did go back the following day to see if he could see any sign of where the object had been. There was a slight smooth indentation in the ploughed soil only.

35 years ago was when they were removing the machinery through the roof.

Yes about 2 years ago, me and my husband were in the garden and we both saw a ufo, it kept shooting down really fast, but then would be immediately where it started and then shot back down again very fast. It wasn't a plane, or a drone.

We caught it on our phones, we have shown a few family and friends since and no one can come up with a realistic solution as to what I could be other than a UFO.

I need to to dig the video out, is there anywhere you can submit them too does anyone know?
