Vinted help

I bought a bundle of 6 items that arrived today. One item is incorrect - the seller put in another pair of trousers she is selling instead of the ones I wanted.

I've not raised an issue with Vinted yet but have exchanged a few messages with the seller about it.

She has suggested that I buy the correct item off her for 10p so she can create a shipping label to send them to me (but then I'll have to pay postage as well). When I said that they wouldn't arrive within the two days I have to mark everything is ok she then suggested that I just tell her my address and she'll post them out. She doesn't want the incorrect trousers sent back.

If I raise an issue through Vinted to keep it all official can she give me a partial refund for the wrong item? I've looked on the FAQ's but it just mentions a refund and I don't want a full refund as I'm keeping the rest of the bundle.

If I go through Vinted it will put the transaction on hold but if I just give her my address the sale will be automatically completed in two days (which isn't long enough for me to receive the item and if by chance she doesn't send it I can't do anything). I think she WILL send them as she seems reasonable in the messages. I'm not going to be awkward or leave negative feedback etc. because I understand these things happen sometimes. I just want to settle it the easiest way possible with little fuss and without making it look like I'm being awkward when I'm not.

You put the order on hold via vinted and she can post you the item, once it arrives you can tell vinted it's now received and it will release the money to seller. It works and I've have it fine BUT it's not the way vinted actually wants it dealt with as I think their rule is incorrect items needs to be posted back

I had a partial refund through PayPal once when an item in a bundle had a mark. I know you'd rather have the trousers, but just letting you know of an option that worked for me.
