Is this a red flag? OLD

Have been chatting to a guy on OLD. He seemed nice and chat was going well.

He's then disclosed after a few days that he has a very young child (under 6 months) that he doesn't see.

He said he can't as the Mum won't let him. He says it's because she's "bitter" that he did not want a relationship with her after she fell pregnant after only a couple of months of dating.

He says he's a good Dad, will be taking her to court, and that "karma" will get her.

I feel very uneasy with the way he described it and spoke of the child's mother.

Is this a big fat red flag?

I have known crazy women and male friends that were treated badly with young kids by the mothers, so that would have been a yellow flag for me and a watch and see.

But the bit about her getting her karma is vengeful and kicks it up to red flag status for me.

He is a good dad... who never sees his child 🤔

Yes I did think it was especially nasty to say "karma" would get the child's mother... whatever he thinks of her or they think of each other it's the baby's mother who is taking care of them, why would you wish bad things on them.

She was also good enough to have sex with for a couple of months so she couldn't have been that bad surely? But I don't know
