Most useful toy

With my first I bought her absolutely everything you could think of + she had lots of presents. She’s 10 years apart so all of her toys have been given away etc.

With my second I’m buying on demand - as it’s needed. I have a small selection of toys that fit in a small box.

The most useful toy we have is an ELG musical drum. It grabs his attention when he is crawling far out and he seems to genuinely enjoy it.

Family and friends have asked for a wish list. Except for clothes, I want to add a few toys - so I’m wondering if you only had to keep 1 toy for your Lo, what would it be and why?

A child-size dustpan and brush. I've still got mine, and it's nearly 60! DD had one as well, but DH stood on it and broke it, the fool.

Kids love to 'help' around the home, and when they outgrow that age, a small dustpan & brush is very useful for clearing crumbs off tables & worktops, and picking Hama beads up off the floor.
