Hi @Crompton987

Try this link immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing it has information on family visas.

Beware that it is difficult and expensive to get a visa, there are long waiting lists and you need to have plenty of money so you aren't dependent on the state.

You may like to contact an agent who can explain your options and help with the application.

You may also like to get this moved to Living Overseas, you may get more help there.

Good luck, congratulations to your son. I completely understand why you want to join him. Australia is great, if a very long way away, where is your son? Some parts of Australia may be easier to move to than others.

Hi,

My Auntie and Uncle did exactly this and are now Australian citizens. They moved to be with their daughter and see their grandchildren grow up. Think they've been there nearly 15 years now... I've shared this with my Auntie and hope she might advise x
