Ice Skating

Is there any ice skating rink near Oldham? I am travelling for work tomorrow to Manchester, staying in a hotel near Preston, hoping to organise a team event in the evening

Blackpool has one.

Blackburn is the closest.
About 4 stops on train from Preston.
Rink is 5 min walk from station x

Don't think there's one in Oldham but there's a few temporary Christmas ice skating rinks in Manchester city centre that are open.

We live near Preston, DH used to take dd to the Blackburn ice rink... it's a fair old trek. I'm not sure it'd be a great venue for a work event unless it's had a refurb since then.

Looks like there's one in altrincham which is nearer Manchester but the other side from Oldham.
