I have not been to sleep at all . I have to be up at 6am could maybe get away with 6.30. But I feel wide awake but my body is achy and restless my legs really hurt.

My so had Thursday of school because his ear was hurting. So it feels like we can't really have day off. I also have a teenager there's no way She would get herself up .

Really pissed of there's absolutely no reason for me not to sleep

Do you have to go to work after you’ve dropped them off at school? Or can you have the day off and get back in bed afterwards?

No work. It's the getting up part if I manage to fall asleep. I would not sleep after school run as I would have the, same problem as tonight. I will likely take them in.

I used to not be able to nap, but post child, the sleep deprivation gets bad enough that sometimes I can. If you don’t have work today, take them to school, don’t have any caffeine or a big breakfast, just get them there. Once you get home, back into pajamas, set an alarm, and try to go to sleep. Give yourself something like 3-4 hours. Enough time that you won’t panic about not falling asleep fast enough, but not so long that you will ruin sleep for the next night.

I've not been to sleep either, I'm in the middle of a bad sleep (or rather not sleep) cycle. Fortunately I don't have to go to work tomorrow but I do have a lot of stuff I wanted (needed) to do, but that's not looking good! I should make myself get up at 6 but I'm generally so exhausted at the moment, I can't see that happening. If I get to sleep the neighbours dog will wake me at 5:30 (he gets taken out for a walk, he gets soo excited bless him he makes this half simper half bark kind iof noise. He's so lovely you can't be cross & in summer I'm awake before he is, so I'll probably get back to sleep & semi sleep until my friend rings at 9 & may sleep after that, but I'll be groggy & grumpy that half the day has gone!!🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

I think I’d just not bother going to sleep at this point and would get up, have some tea and read a book until time to get everyone ready and then sleep after the school run. You do have to get them to school as you having a bad night is not a good reason to keep them off so make it as easy for yourself as possible.
