Had beetroot 2 days ago. Poo today is red. Water in toilet was red anyway.

I'm panicking...

? Why? You ate beetroot.

gamerchick · 01/12/2024 13:01

Well beetroot can do that.

MissPrickly · 01/12/2024 13:08

Intestinal transit time, or digestion rate varies with everyone. Usual time is 12-24 hours, anything longer could mean you have constipation or other digestive issues going on.

Bloody poo is an excellent expletive.

If you're worried get tested.

RedVelvetIcing · 02/12/2024 11:52

It’s likely to be the beetroot but always best to get checked if you are worried.

AlteredStater · 02/12/2024 11:57

Almost certainly is beetroot!
