Advanced Student Loan

I have an Advanced Student Loan for £5,000 which was taken out in 2018. I haven’t earnt enough to start paying it back, does anyone know if this Loan is increasing each year because of Interest? I don’t receive any communication about it.

Do you mean Advanced Learner Loan? Was it taken to go to university?

Yes, I studied a Diploma at College 😊

If you then went on to university, and completed- it should be wiped out.

No, I went to College from the age of 50-55 but did not go to Uni

Yes, interest will accrue, (full info on gov website). This loan is written off if you then go on to complete a full university degree course.
