It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

I love their little elf hats, cute!

Meanwhile on Beany Hill, Nicklaus is out with his snowmobile.

He finds a little lost dog.

"Come here little dog" he says.

He gathers up the dog. "I'll take it to the vet and see if it's chipped, so we can find the owner." he says.

Oh well done Nicklaus. Save the poor dog!

I love the elves wanting a game of football! Who doesn't want a bit of a game after a morning at work?

How do you come up with the story line? Do you have the whole of December planned, or do you just play it by ear? Loving today's offerings!

@Openmouthinsertfood it's all planned in advance and photographed ahead of time. It's fairly time consuming, especially when I have to construct buildings etc (they are stored taken apart in boxes otherwise would take up too much space).

There's quite a bit of planning involved as I have to work out what I need for each scene (and then find it from the appropriate boxes)! But I have a book in which I do all my planning!

I love it. I’ll be checking back each day through December to see what the playmos are up to. Thanks for doing it, I’m sure it is a lot of work.

Ooh, sounds exciting! It must take you hours! I bet it's a lot of fun though?

It does take a long time, but it's also a lot of fun. I have a great time planning it all. The ideas just come from stuff that would normally happen at Christmas/in the winter!

The dog belonged to Marta. His name is Strudel. He escaped when she had the door open and ran off. He's now safely back home!

I've been having a good day. I went to a lunchtime concert which was a festive organ recital, in a church which has its Christmas tree festival this week. All very lovely! I'm now making some highly flavoured gravy for Christmas (it's going in the freezer).

While everything is cooking in the oven I'm enjoying a with Norman.
