It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

As we no longer get the fun of primary school Christmas plays this is an excellent replacement

Do Playmobil make an organ? Weeellll... in the church there are some organ pipes which go on the wall, but no organ console, so no means by which the Playmo people can play it! There is also a small portable organ which came in one of the Christmas sets. I do have this, and it used to play some (very tinny) Christmas tunes, but the battery has now run down so much it doesn't really work. And I think it's one of those sealed units where you can't change the battery...

Today Sara is in her kitchen doing some Christmas baking.

She puts the buns in the oven.

Oops would help if I added the photo!

She closes the door. Time to tidy up the kitchen while the buns are cooking.

Her oldest daughter Zibiah comes into the kitchen. "Can you give me a hand with the washing up please?" asks Sara.

Sara takes the buns out of the oven while Zibiah finishes the washing up.

Sara has been busy! By the end of the morning her kitchen is filled with festive treats!

Ludwig is also baking. He is rolling out some dough.

He has made some little Christmas biscuits...

...and a beautiful cake for the school Christmas fair this weekend!

This is brilliant & you are so clever & imaginative!

I have got my DH hooked on this thread too (he is a huge LEGO fan) & we sit every night & look at the new days photos. You give us a warm fuzzy feeling after a stressful day & it helps us both relax!

It's such a delightful escape from real life...no one in playmoland parks across their neighbour's drive, no one gets run over by a Deliveroo bike, no one argues with their child's teacher.....ah Playmoland, we love you!

And the children do the washing up! I need to move to Playmo land......
