...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Today Andrei and Zinaida have taken Elizaveta ice skating.

There are some little birds on the bird feeder.

Elizaveta spots some deer!

Oh dear, Elizaveta has taken a tumble!

Andrei helps her up while Zinaida goes to pick up her hat which has fallen off.

After all that ice skating they enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a doughnut.

Andreas has also taken Friedrich and Klara ice skating on a frozen pond.

They are having a lot of fun.

Friedrich falls over!

I love it when they fall over! 😁

But he's soon back on his feet again!

Ulrike arrives with hot drinks and some chips to warm them up!

We have some old cine camera footage of my family skating on a lake. Baby brother in the sled wrapped up so much he can’t move his arms, and 3 year old me falling over a lot.

I looked rather like the Playmobil children when I did so.
