It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Do you have any ideas what your next one will be or are you having a bit of a break now?

I don't have any specific events planned @JewelleryCat , but may think of doing something summer themed at some point.

And @Freysimo was asking about a nativity. Playmobil have produced a few nativity sets over the years, and we have one of them.

Talking of which, when I looked at the nativity scene this morning, I was surprised to find that the we three kings had acquired a police quad bike and a kettle...

...while a chicken had replaced baby Jesus in the manger...

...Michael the beach policeman is now riding a camel, and Norman has acquired a golden goblet...

...and the baby Jesus is now having a ride in the tractor trailer in my farm advent calendar scene!

So much fun! ☺️ ☺️

Did they have a bit of a party to shake things up a bit?!

@LIZS you'd think they'd have been on the blue wine! But actually my sister fessed up to having moved them.

Yes, and as my sister said, a kettle was probably a far more useful gift than gold, frankincense or myrrh!

Yes, although I had those things after giving birth to ds but rather fancied a gin & tonic! They didn't offer that in the hospital though...

This was one of my Christmas presents (from my friend who came to stay). I'm looking forward to putting that together, as well as a set I had for my birthday, and some sets I bought with birthday money. But I'll do that after ds leaves on 31st December.

Ds and I are going round to @petalpower 's this evening for dinner. Really looking forward to that!

Yes she does, @ChessieFL ! We had a lovely time at @petalpower 's last night. This morning I have been making a flan from the leftover Christmas chicken etc, then this afternoon ds and I are off out to see a local theatre production, which should be very funny.

The flan worked well, then we went for a seaside walk before the theatre production, and bumped into 2 different friends! The theatre show was really great, so funny! Then we came home to eat the flan and watch the Wallace and Gromit film. A really good day, I'm sure they have those in Playmoland all the time!
