It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

He's outside number 27 with a pink doll for Gwenllian and a teddy bear for Gethin.

Down the chimney again! It's a busy night.

Santa! If you don’t, I recommend tracking Santa on NORAD, I do every year. Doesn’t start until 9am though but flight radar have been tracking Santa since last night. Merry Christmas @SoMuchToBits and I hope you have a lovely one 🎅🏼🤶

Santa has been busy in Playmoland! Lovely that Norman got a visit but I’m sure he’s been good all year and deserves it!

I hope that Santa can get some elves down the chimney to fix the heating.

Unfortunately the engineer couldn't fix the heating today, as it needed a part which he didn't have. But he did a thorough inspection of the boiler and noted several other parts to get, and should be back in a few days with all the parts needed. Meanwhile we're managing to keep the downstairs warm (fortunately it's not a huge house!) and at least we have hot water. We've been swimming this morning, and I'll make some mince pies this afternoon...

Shame about the heating, but you have a positive attitude towards it - and the oven should heat up the kitchen a bit too! I found my Oodie very handy when a similar thing happened to me - Oodie plus fleece-lined joggers and thick socks. I also had some fingerless mittens, so the only real cold bit was my nose - do they do nose gloves? 😁

@VexedofVirginiaWater you could always wear a face mask! But actually the living/dining room and kitchen are warm. It's only if you venture into the hall or upstairs it' a bit chilly!

It's Christmas Day and Bernd, Svenja and Sabine have presents under the tree. Svenja and Sabine are wearing their best Christmas dresses and Bernd is wearing his Christmas jumper.

Svenja's present is a lovely new bag!

Bernd has a new set of tools!

And Sabine has the pink teddy bear she has been wanting all year!

It's almost time for lunch. Bernd and Svenja have a glass of blue wine, and Sabine has a glass of orange juice. Cheers!

Meanwhile, after a busy night Father Christmas is relaxing in front of the fire with a mug of beer.
