It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Oh dear, Gustav has fallen over!

Dietrich goes over to check Gustav is ok.

He is soon back on his snowboard!

Manav is also out enjoying the snow.

He is having a great time! The snow has been excellent today.

Thank you all! Have been a bit frazzled today as the heating decided to stop working last night, so had to call an engineer out. Who couldn't fix it, so I now have an eye-wateringly expensive Baxi callout engineer coming tomorrow! Hope he can fix it. In the meantime we've borrowed some fan heaters from kind neighbours (plus one we already had). It's now reasonably warm downstairs, but arctic upstairs! This would never happen in Playmoland would it?

It certainly wouldn't - someone like Norman would come along asap and fettle it - and it would be at a reasonable Playmo cost too. I hope you can keep warm @SoMuchToBits - can you have a fan heater upstairs for a few minutes before bedtime? Do you have any hot water bottles?

Or a heated blanket? They’re really good

I've given my sister a fan heater for before bedtime. No hottie bottles, but a decent duvet, I'm sure she will be fine with that. Just hope the heating can be fixed tomorrow, but if not, at least we have hot water and heaters from the lovely neighbours!

The workshop is all tidy and Father Christmas is checking his final lists with the elves.

The elves have all worked very hard, so Father Christmas rewards them all with a cuddly teddy bear!

In the evening Nat and Joy feed the reindeer while Pip and Bud help Father Christmas load the sleigh.

The elves wave Father Christmas off on his long journey.

He stops outside number 8. There is a toy car for Berian and a teddy bear for Briallen.

Time to go down the chimney!

He stops off at Norman's to deliver some festive biscuits to go with Norman's cuppa!
