It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

@ApolloandDaphne thank you, I do love it when people post! Partly because I love hearing everyone's comments and opinions, but also it bumps the thread so more people can see it.

Just catching up on the last couple of days. The ski lodge is fantastic, and I'm very impressed by the reliable postal service!

Thank you @Thetrickcyclist yes, I wish the British postal service was as good as the Playmoland one!

I love the origin of Beany Hill - as with all the names, so creative

Today there is a Christmas concert at Lowbeach-on-Sea. The Waterbury singers are performing a selection of Christmas carols and songs.

Conductor Leilani is very proud of her choir.

Next is jazz group Bubbly, performing some festive favourites.

A solo for vocalist Jubilele.

Alina plays the violin, accompanied by Rafferty on piano.

They finish their performance with a flourish...

...and take a bow.

Stella and Anderson are a popular singer and keyboard duo.

They acknowledge the applause.

And finally there is a barbershop quartet - The Singing Santas!

They bring the concert to a rousing finale!

Amazing talent and variety!

Haha, I don't think any of them are me! They don't make Playmobil clarinets... Coincidentally I am actually going to a Christmas concert this afternoon, it's a brass band concert.

What a fabulous concert - such variety! Were The Funky Boys busy? I didn’t notice them but maybe it was a different style of concert!
