It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Frieda and Shreya come out to join them.

They take their sledges to the top of the hill. Shreya sets off first.

Frieda isn't far behind her.

The four children are happily sledging together.

Oh dear, Noel has fallen off!

Frieda goes to see if he's ok.

Fortunately he's fine, and is soon on his feet again.

I'll bet its been suggested upthread, but these would make fantastic christmas cards. If copyright is a problem, approach playmobil with the idea! you deserve a free supply of playmobil at the very least.

I'd love to be sledging on Beany Hill today.

It looks cool but sunny. The fresh air would do me the world of good. Although I might need a hand to get on and off the sledge these days!

Thank you all! I'd be the one falling off too - it reminds me that when I was 17 I went sledging with some friends and crashed into a tree! I had a massive bruise on my knee for ages, and the knee has never been quite the same since.

They were all having so much fun they didn't bother comparing sledges! I expect there will be a white Christmas in Playmoland (there usually is ). There will definitely be something to see on Christmas Day!
