It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

What will they be getting up to next without the playmo Olympics to keep them busy? Hoping we don't have to wait a year for their next antics!

I'm not too sure @PlumpHobbit ! We'll have to wait and see...

Today Steffi, Jonas, Karl and Noel are making snowmen.

Soon Erich, Elke, Shreya and Gustav come out to join them.

Steffi, Jonas, Karl and Noel are putting the finishing touches to theirs.

The snowmen are all finished!

Karl and Noel think theirs is the funniest because it has a potty for a hat!

Steffi and Jonas have chosen a blue cloche hat for their snowman.

"Ours is a posh snowman" say Erich and Elke "as he's wearing a top hat!"

"But not as posh as ours." say Shreya and Gustav. "He's a prince with a crown!"

Steffi and Jonas decide their snowman isn't festive enough, so they change his hat. "That's better!" says Jonas. They have all had a lot of fun playing in the snow.

I was once off school for 6 weeks, because of snow and adverse conditions,I think in 1963. I was 9 years old.
I lived in a village in the Welsh Valleys and my father made me a most excellent sledge.

I have enjoyed these wintry scenes in PlaymoLand so much!
All the fun with none of the usual soggy coats, freezing hands and feet!

One thing we did perfect was building a snowman! Everyone was so bored that we got together to create the biggest and the best!

I’m another who enjoys these threads but doesn’t often comment. Loving the snowmen with their imaginative choices of hats. A part of me wishes we could have some proper winter weather like they do in Playmoland- lots of snow & blue skies, though the sensible adult part of me would worry about driving to work through the snow!

Today Johann is taking Noel on a winter wonderland sleigh ride. They see some little grey mice.
