It's advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

...and so each day up until Christmas I'll be bringing you some festive scenes from Playmoland. Today Franziska and Heinz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

It's the Christmas fair at Eastgate Primary School today. Mrs Evans is running the cake stall. Franz and Noel are trying to decide what to buy.

Franz chooses a cupcake and Noel a gingerbread heart.

Olivia and Sophie are looking at the teddy bear stall, run by Mayumi.

Olivia opts for a blue bear, and Sophie a brown bear.

Marta is running the guess the weight of the cake (kindly made by Ludwig!). Fergus and Sanjeev are pondering how heavy it is.

"I really hope I win that cake" says Fergus. "It looks delicious!"

Fariba is running the book stall. Brady and Cara are looking for their favourite authors.

There is a Santa's grotto at the fair. Jeanette takes her son Isaac along. He is wondering what is in the beautifully wrapped present!

The treasure hunt is being run by Matthias. Rowan and Isaiah are trying to guess where the treasure is buried.

They have both chosen totally different places. I wonder who will win!

Klara and Elke are looking at the Christmas card stall run by Saurav.

Klara chooses cards with reindeers on, while Elke likes the angels.

Karin is running the toy stall. Theo and Esme are trying to decide what they would like.

Theo chooses a yellow doll and Esme a blue fish.

Reynalyn and Olive are running the refreshment stall. Mr Parker (one of the teachers) and Silje (one of the parents) are ordering their hot beverages.

Silje enjoys a coffee, while Mr Parker has a nice cup of tea. It has been a busy day at the Christmas fair. I hope they've raised lots of money!

Ah, today's photos bring back so many memories of the chaos of the Christmas fair! Very glad DS is well into secondary and we don't do that any more!
