Anyone know the easiest way to get Microsoft word on an apple mac laptop?

Go to the app store and download it (and pay the subscription )

It’s all the same price . You need a Microsoft account and subscription. Then download from App Store on your Mac. If you have family members who need it the family one is best bet.

It's fine if you're just using it occasionally for simple stuff, but if you're going to be using it daily or for anything quite involved it's worth downloading the proper version

You can also use just use the free Mac version Pages, it’s very similar to Word and then you export the file to a Word doc if you need to?

If you are a committed Mac person and have iCloud storage - dont use the auto save function (little toggle on the top bar) in excel, word etc. that’s to lure you into MS One Drive cloud storage rather than keeping stuff saved to your Mac / iCloud and will confuse matters
