What size slow cooker do you have?

And how many people do you use it for?

I currently have a 6.5l but it needs replacing. I don’t use it that often, and mostly just for 4 people, but occasionally have used it for more.

I was looking at a 4.7l one which I know says it’s for 4-5 people but is it? Or will it feel a lot smaller that my current one?

Surely the 4.7 one will be approx 70% of the size of your 6.5 one.

Can you cope with one that's almost a third smaller?

I have one that came with a range of crock bowls, 4 sizes, that all fit on the same base. The smallest would serve 2 and the largest 10. The bowls nest in each other when not in use. It’s really handy. Lots of people ask me about it but I’ve had it for donkey’s years and strangely it has no brand name and no idea where I got it or if it was a gift. Maybe they still sell similar somewhere?

Depends what you're cooking. Do you ever put a whole chicken in? Or as joint of meat? Because I don't think you can in a 4l. Unless it's an oval shape?
