Airfryer help please!

I'm buying my Mum an airfryer for Christmas. She lives alone so is usually cooking for one but does have family round for dinner every couple of weeks. I am thinking one with 2 drawers would work well because she can just use one of them when it's just her but equally it might come in useful when she's cooking for more people. Does this sound reasonable? I assume you can turn on one drawer and not the other?

This one has a good discount - https://www.argos.co.uk/product/4724825?clickPR=plp:3:21

Does anyone have it?

I would go for two drawers. We’re a family of four but the teens will often make something for themselves in it and use both drawers depending on what they are making so even as a single person two drawers is handy.

Yep definitely 2 drawers. I started with one and then upgraded and it makes such a difference. She might even use the 2 herself, I quite often do depending what I'm cooking.

No experience of that one but my mum (78, lives alone) has this Ninja one and loves it. She was sceptical but now cooks almost every day in it and it's plenty big enough to do chips for 5 of us when we visit with the family. You can use just one side (or do two different things in each side or sync both sides of cooking lots of the same thing):

I don’t like the draws and if she’s old school cooking like me use to an oven she might prefer shelves too

i had this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tower-T17076-Digital-Circulation-60-Minute/dp/B09CDT23ZV/ref=sr_1_4?crid=36R42L0X50BF6&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8IV4sFIHmBdg2Hw8oDeZvdDXRgU1FA1pnu4bQbrQCdaVC2f2wd88fyG6HnVpSAIjeXdrAFtfUc9c4Lnpf69uKGHUEjK0EcQes09a_otfnWBdhBGEH3muvbKflaiileC95NMoyKYaant8arAYRafQgPijdwDRsSiFonXww4VMRhfQInZRb1pOmRWnVHgIDaloLt-_7MGUTK3J_Z0g2b2J-MpomADUz8yQJ9kpw-CxTTg.Q5upjQdIAjMkk2WltMjfOYlqc_rXCAJUSfOc8f9vnS0&dib_tag=se&keywords=tower+air+fryer&qid=1732869087&sprefix=Tower%2Caps%2C151&sr=8-4
well the smaller one actually, but it was great fir 2 people.

i have up graded to a bigger one this year because I had the room on the side I didn’t have before, but I would really recommend the tower one for her. I’ve cooked a 1.7kg chicken in it then while it rested cooked roast potatoes for 4 people. It has three shelves which can be removed and best yet a rotisserie

We also have the tower one with shelves and use it most days. The glass door and interior light mean you can view what's cooking which can be handy. It's ended up as being a really useful and easy to use bit of kit for the kitchen.
