Tapo smart plugs- help me!!!

These were meant to make my life easier but I'm spending everyday faffing with them.

Why can't I get the schedules to work? I seem to have to amend the schedule everyday as it's either not going on or not switching off despite me setting the times.
The reviews for these plugs are fab so I can't understand why I'm having such trouble 😩

Have you set the schedule to every day? Are they all blue?

I use them and they work fine, come on and off every day as they should. Does it have poor connection to the WiFi so your settings aren't going through properly or something?

Are you pressing the save button at the top right of the schedule screen? That caught me out a couple of times.

I've pressed save but it's just not working, my WiFi connection is fine. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong but tempted to return and go back to manual timers

Sorry I can’t suggest a solution without knowing what’s wrong - could you screenshot some of your settings so we can see? I have these and they work like a dream

have you got the ‘away’ option selected - that would turn it on and off at random times?

Before you return them let's see if we can help you. Can you take a photo of the schedule screen you are trying to set the times on?

They are great for being able to just tap something on or off or change the settings. Far easier to do it on the phone for me as opposed to moving a table out to get to the timer for the lamp that is plugged in.

I feel I've set the schedule correct but it's not kicking in, it didn't switch the lights on at 6.30am today so I did them manually but then it managed to switch them off at 8am like I'd programmed

Your second pic is turning the plug off, so you haven't set a time for it to come on. You need to change the 800 so it says to switch on.

Sorry, just read you switched them on manually, so you haven't got a timer set for them to come on.

When does it switch ON? Both settings are for OFF.

Oh god it seems so obvious now!! I've created a separate schedule for them coming on and another going off. Thank you so much!!

Oh phew! I hope you love them as much as I do now, I’m going to get a couple more because they are so useful. I can also recommend the Tapo camera.

I bloody love them too! Amazing for switching the electric blanket on half an hour before bedtime and then switching it off about half an hour after I'm in bed.
