Hand hold please. Sick while travelling

Hello

Is anyone awake and could hold my hand please? I'm on a solo trip in Europe and I must have eaten something bad yesterday. I've woken up to nausea and I'm almost vomiting but too scared to actually do it (I'm whatever the term is for fear of vomiting) I'm on my own and scared. Pharmacy not open yet and I don't have any medication

This is only my second time travelling alone, it was supposed to be fun.

I currently have a bug (could be COVID, not sure) that makes me feel really nauseous to the point of gagging but I don't vomit. It has lasted a few days, I have also felt hot and weak as well. It could be that, not sure, but just wanted to say this as you may not vomit anyway.

Full sugar coke can actually be a good thingg,k, these circs, was recommended to me by a dr when I had norovirus 👍

I’m also vomit-phobic so I get it, it’s only really happened to me twice, both norovirs, I think the fear of being sick actually stops it from happening.

its a horrible feeling, hope you feel better soon x

Started feeling sick again. Went out for fresh air and feeling tired and sick. I'm determined to get home though. I've got about an 8 hour journey I don't know what's best to do

Oh no! Did you say you're getting a train? What time is your train?
Have you eaten anything at all?
Priority now is getting yourself home safely so you can hunker down and take care of yourself in your own space.

I am always puking, thanks to my IBS and dodgy guts, especially if I eat lettuce, my stomach hates it

I have laid there many a night feeling really sick with my stomach fluttering and contracting, urgh, I usually go and stick my fingers down my throat to get it all up, and feel a lot better afterwards, could you do this and get it over with sooner?

It'll be over probably by the end today, maybe tomorrow if you're unlucky. You are as well staying put, letting it pass then continuing your holiday. Waste of money and energy to do anything else and do you want to be feeling this way/chucking up/shitting yourself on a train? Plus you don't know the cause so risk spreading it especially with inadequate hygiene on the train. And how will you manage your luggage if you're in a wet slippy room with your face hovering over a well-used semi-public toilet on a moving vehicle?
