I'm going to be trying to get tickets for a concert for DD this week. For an artist we had tickets for for a previous tour that was then pulled due to 'illness' which was the reason given at the time, but I think it was really that covid was taking hold. I decided I'd try and get tickets if and when they toured again and it was in the news this week that they are.
Tickets go on sale on Friday. But I have 2 presale opportunitites. One through a ballot from the artist's site, which goes live at 9am. Another with O2 priority that goes live at 10am. I'm completely aware that none of this means I'll land a ticket but I'm hopeful.
What I'm wondering is, if I'm all logged in etc to ticketmaster and get stuck in a queue and/or the tickets are all sold out before I get a change (has happened to me before) what type of tickets are usually offered on presale?
Is it a mix of prices? Most expensive? Rubbish seats they hope to shift first?
Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.
