…..please, I Have an iPhone 13 but I am clumsy so need something with decent protection but not too chunky if possible, was using skinny dip cases for a while as they have the corner bumpers but lately the quality hasn’t been as good

I use Otterbox Symmetry.

I get mine on Etsy, as I like the variety of colours/patterns. I get the silicone cases with a plastic bit that you attach on. They're not too chunky.

LoquaciousPineapple · 26/11/2024 12:42

I had an Otterbox Symmetry one but wasn't that impressed with it. My phone never got damaged, but the pattern very quickly wore off on the corners and side of the case.

I have a random silicone one from Amazon now. Very happy with it, and it's doing just as good a job protecting my phone as the Otterbox did.

I have a Athlex Case by Caseology. It's much harder to drop as the surface is rough and so it won't slide out of your hands. It also has a reasonable rim around the edge for protection.

I have an Atouchbo gel case with extra reinforcement on the corners, I drop my phone a lot so needed decent protection.

FussyPud · 26/11/2024 13:07

A random Amazon one that has bumper corners and is magsafe. I have a screen protector too, and so far I’m doing ok.

cindertoffeeapple · 26/11/2024 13:09

I have a JETech one from Amazon. Protects my phone really well - I’m clumsy and have a cat who likes to shove it off things.

tediber · 26/11/2024 13:14

Casekoo I got from Amazon. I've dropped my phone a gd few times and it's still in one piece no big cracks etc. there's the odd light surface scratch but not noticeable when using it.

MyLovingBiscuit · 07/08/2026 12:17

I also have an iPhone 13 and am clumsy. Has anyone tried the Spigen Liquid Air? It's thin but grippy and survived a few drops. What's your current favorite after trying those recommendations?

HundredMilesAnHour · 07/08/2026 12:29

I have a Burga Tough (MagSafe) one for my iPhone and it’s been great so far (after 3 years!) no matter how many times I have dropped my phone. Phone is still immaculate and so is the case. They’re not the cheapest but absolutely worth it.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 07/08/2026 12:31

Mines from skinny dip too. It’s about a year old I think. I think their cases start to wear out round the sides after a while as my old phone broke in one of their cases after a while.

timtamsarebetterthanpenguins · 07/08/2026 12:40

A cheap plastic one off Amazon.

lljkk · 07/08/2026 12:47

I think I got a random one off of Amazon.
that said, my screen protector is JeTech, and great quality. Would look at any of their products again.

littlebigchicken · 07/08/2026 12:49

JETech

Scampuss · 07/08/2026 12:53

I use a Spigen Nano Pop with a pop socket and an Otterbox screen protector.

GasPanic · 07/08/2026 13:05

Funny how people pay a load of money for a stylish, thin phone in a cool colour and then put it in a case.

Anyhow. I have a quite chunky case for my crap phone. It has a stand that slides onto the back that also holds 2x credit cards or a note and a camera cover.

It cvost 9.99 and I like it.

I change my phone maybe every 5 or so years, I tend to get the best and lightest model I can afford each time for the functionality I need. It goes in a sturdy case so I can hold it in my decrepit hands and not worry about dropping it when my grip goes.

ThereIsATInWater · 07/08/2026 18:51

Any 360 magsafe one I like the look of up to £20!!

Defender90 · 07/08/2026 18:52

Always otterbox for clumsy me!

Symmetry I think it’s called.

MyLovingBiscuit · 10/08/2026 12:07

I switched to caseface.nl for my phone cases and really like the grip and durability. Their cases are made in Europe with a warranty, so they hold up well for clumsy people. Worth a look.

Rebecca Minkoff clear water and coloured stuff glitter one.

TheeNotoriousPIG · 10/08/2026 12:26

I have a screen protector on mine, and a clear, waterproof case with reinforced edging. I think that it came from eBay. It's very useful, and although it has been dropped on concrete and has occasionally got wet at work, it hasn't yet broken!

FenellaFancyFudge · 10/08/2026 12:26

A bandolier case. I look for them second hand on eBay. It’s a high quality leather case on a cross body strap. It means I never need to put my phone in a pocket or a bag and no risk of dropping it. I also use a screen protector. It’s been a game changer.
