‘The Essence Vault’ - too good to be true?

i am in the market for a new perfume and normally buy genuine fragrance at nearly £100 a bottle. £££ But would like to save a bit of money this year, I clicked on the above company, they have great reviews online mostly and wondering whether to try but I have some reservations. Their marketing is very good! Keep getting offers from them now.

If you have bought some of these fragrances, do they smell good? I am really sensitive to cloying, fake chemical smells so this would be a no go!

Are they safe on skin? It says they are approved by the International Fragrance Association but I have never heard of that.

is it morally reprehensible to buy dupes? Or are you just paying for the name and marketing for genuine fragrances and that is morally questionable??

i may just go for Zara or Next fragrances and ask for one ‘genuine’ one for Christmas!!

Thsnks in advance for your opinions and experiences. 😊

I haven't got any of their perfumes but their home diffusers are superb and last for ages.

I personally think it's morally reprehensible to charge £100 / £120 for a bottle of perfume!

Yes they are good for everyday use.
The longevity is not as good in some of the fragrances but they are good quality and a good company to deal with.
The bundle of 3 100ml bottles is a good deal and I usually do this a few times a year.

I don't know what smells you like but in terms of smelling like the originals I have repeat purchased:

Baccarat rouge
Molecules 01
Lost Cherry
Decadence

For men the Sauvage, Creed and Fierce dupes are great

I've used them a few times. They smell great. I usually spend £100+ on a presume I've worn for 40 years so am quite particular.

I’ve bought quite a few from the Essence Vault and they’ve all been good. A lot of the Zara perfumes are dupes too but I’ve never tried any of them.

Thanks very much for your replies. Think I will give them a go, maybe starting with the samples.

I bought a perfume from the Essence Vault Ispired by Flowerbomb 14. Was not as good as the original, smelt cheap and chemically.

Channel No 5 is the only true perfume that has a floral base.
