deciphering a liver function test.

Hi, my daughter has type 1 diabetes and has just had this liver function test back, which doctor
didn't flag. She's phoned GP and they're not
concerned but gave conflicting advice on the phone and she's confused.
The result is;

Serum alanine aminotransferase level < 8
J/L [10.0 - 49.0]; Please note change to ALT reference range.; Below low reference limit

So she's an 8 and the range should be 10-49.
Google says this can mean potential kidney issue or low B6 vitamin.
Anyone know? She's going to phone doctors
again and see if she can discuss with someone else.
Any doctors here that can decipher?
Thanks.

How old is your daughter? The reference ranges are typically for adults. I've never heard of issues with too low though, so hopefully nothing to worry about
