Worried about dc growing up to fit in all the Christmas experiences. There’s only a certain amount of time you have, to take them to places like Lapland, Disneyland, Christmas lodges and holidays, days out. Does anyone else feel like this?

The lack of engagement in the conversation from the OP leads me to think that this will pop up online as an article in the next few days

Mine are secondary age now, but when they were little they had a nativity play each at school, plus a Carol concert, plus the school Christmas fair and school Santa visit, so that was 4 or 5 events in the first 3 weeks of December before we even did anything at home!
Add in the “essential”bits- shopping for presents for grandparents and one another, writing cards to friends whilst drinking hot chocolate and eating mince pies, going to choose a tree and decorating it, wrapping presents and you have 5 more.
So that’s 10 things happening in 24 days. Throw in a few Christmas movies, an evening baking cookies, a drive to look at local streets who go all-in on decorating and our Christmas Eve walk to see lights on our road and we’re at 16 events in 24 days. A couple of wintry walks and a crafty day or two leaves little time for much else- we’d possibly go round a Christmas market or go ice skating but could equally do those on the few days after Christmas Day.
All special memories and traditions, but little or no expense. My dc would have been loathe to miss any of them, and Disney/ snowy cabins are still there in February half term if you’ve the money and inclination.
