For Christmas I really want a fantastic new duvet. What should I be looking for? Feather down / goose down / synthetic? Budget about £100 for super king

thanks x

Try a wool duvet.

I have changed all our duvets to wool - they are fab. Nice weight to them and neither too hot or cold.

Hungarian goose down is the only one I would buy

You’re not getting that for £100 in super king though!

We have the soak and sleep feels like down one, I love it and it was only around £75 (for a superking).

I love my wool duvet, it's great for temperature control, perfect if you heading anywhere near perimenopause. We've got a dual one and at the moment just have the 9.5 tog and with the dog blanket on top its perfect.

Used to have a down one - but I've got allergic to down now. But still the wool one is better than down.

Soak and Sleep's 100% Tussah silk duvet. It's sheer perfection. Light, warm, you never feel like you're overheating. It's a bit of a luxury but worth every penny.

I think Homescapes want you to buy their duvet……

I have a Baavet duvet but we are considering changing it. Tbf, we could just need a heavier one. I would also like a super king next time but that means replacing all the covers though.

We always had a feather duvet before and I’d go back to that, but not a synthetic one.

Echo the wool duvet, I recommend Devon Duvets. Made with British wool, sustainable, handcrafted. I think it’s worth spending a bit more as you use it every day. It’s the most comfortable duvet I have ever had, cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

goose down duvet, make sure high content of down like 90% or 80%, super warm and very light.
