I'm a single mum and I've just realised I have no videos of me with my dc. my dc are getting older youngest now in year 7 and I'm feeling sad about lack of videos of us together just doing stuff and very few photos. I know I can take selfie photos but does anyone have any suggestions of how I can film a video when I have nobody to do it for us?

Same here. But then I had very few photos or videos taken of me when I was married.

Do selfie sticks still exist? Or prop the phone somewhere and record your precious moments. As mad as that sounds I will be doing that this Christmas as never have videos of me and DC either.

You can buy tripods for around £20-30 on Amazon. Set the phone up on a tripod and it can record you all.

No guarantee you would have loads of videos if the dc dad was there as in my experience some men are terrible at taking videos and pictures. I always had to instruct my dh to take them which meant they were never impromptu and always ended up looking staged. If you have a sister they are far better. Tell them what you said here and let them do it especially over Christmas. Or a friend. Tell them it's your goal for 25 to get lots.

Or like my DH completely forget to press record 😂
