Can I reheat prawns?

One of my neighbours frequently, but unpredictably, makes food for me and brings it round hot and ready to eat. This evening she has brought round an enormous batch of food, but I’ve already eaten. Usually when this happens I box it up and reheat it the following day, but this time it’s a mixed meat and prawn dish. Is that safe to reheat tomorrow?

Yes. As long as it's been in the fridge.

I wouldn't as you don't know what's happened to the prawns prior to this

i have always put prawn dishes in the fridge and reheated them the next day. Just make sure they are piping hot

Fridge overnight and then piping hot when you reheat and it’s fine.

Pick the prawns out.

Officially you probably shouldn't, but I do frequently with no adverse affects.

Why?

I've done it a lot . I'm fine

Surely when anything is heated up thoroughly any lurking bacteria will be killed? I always make sure its bubbling hot and stirred. (Although that might impact quality and texture.)
