Hi
i have recently gone to a super king bed and when i put the new quilt and cover on bed is it normal only to have 2 inch at either side that quilt kays on bed as then the duvet hangs over bottom but you have to double it over at top do they go the other way it’s driving me mad !!

I'm wondering if its around the wrong way too?
I normally buy a quilt size larger than the bed, but not sure what you do about a super king? Is there a larger one? Another option is having 2 duvets on there.

It will go the other way round. I usually find that the stitching on the duvet goes across the bed rather than up and down. We have a super king bed and duvet

Wish the duvet makers would make it easier to know which way round it goes. Interesting that a PP says stitching goes across the bed. Rushing to go and check.

You have it the wrong way around.

But if you are really worried you could buy next size up duvet. Emperor. I would love an emperor bed 7foot by 7foot but room not big enough.
