Super simple shared to do app?

Looking for something that is literally just a to do list, no fancy features, no reminders. But that we can share. All the ones I look at are very complicated, want to link with my calendar, or have ads. Just a list that you can tick and remove. Nothing else. Does this exist? I have installed and deleted three ones now for being too complicated

Same here! Let’s hope some well organised MNer will be along soon.

We use Time Tree. Easy to use and manage. Took me ages to find one I liked. It’s simple, too. I can’t stand faffy, over complicated apps!

Google notes, just click add collaborator.

xx11x · 23/11/2024 12:59

if you both have iphones then you can share notes as well and create to do lists that way

Earthstoodhardasiron · 23/11/2024 13:05

I use Colornote. So simple, I think you might have to use the same login for several people to use it, but that's not a problem once it's set up.

Microsoft to do

Cashew1 · 23/11/2024 13:06

Todoist

Marmite27 · 23/11/2024 13:06

We use Microsoft todo. It works on both Apple and android.

very simple and easy to share lists.

Skepticgal · 23/11/2024 15:09

Thanks all. I tried todoist, found it a faff. Will try a few of the others.

Reminders on iPhone.

DizzyWaltzer · 23/11/2024 15:21

You can share to do lists using Remember the Milk. You can use it via internet or app. Think there’s a subscription fee for the app but free using the internet. I’ve used it successfully for a few years, it will send you reminders via email once a day if you wish.

allnewname · 23/11/2024 15:25

We use the virtual assistant for a shopping list, we both have the app so can access it when out. Could maybe use her in a similar way for a to do list?

HEC2746 · 23/11/2024 15:27

Codo on Android. Literally lists, nothing else.

larkstar · 23/11/2024 15:40

We use Microsoft ToDo - I can add things to the list from home on my phone while checking the fridge and the kitchen cupboards knowing that my wife will get them added instantly to the list on her phone if she is going to call in at the shops on the way home. She ticks them off going round the shop if she gets them and I'll know straight away what's left for me to get... for example. We've used it for a few years - you just have to create one account that you both log in to.

golemmings · 23/11/2024 16:30

I used trello.

I tried paper first but kept finding it buried under piles of my stuff...

Obviously if the person that you want to share the list with is the kind of person who spends 6months moving other things on top of the paper copy, you may be dealing with the kind of person who also refuses to open an app.

I've not given up... I set the app up in 2022...

Yellowaveo59 · 23/11/2024 16:31

We use Google keep. Have a list we can add items to for the weekly shop.

Onlyvisiting · 23/11/2024 16:33

Is it for recurring things like household tasks or random one offs? .I like sweepy. You can customised so I have things like a room called with my name where I put personal things like book dentist, and one for my dogs, and one called random tasks.
I use it along but I think the main feature of it is it is sharable

Kangarude · 23/11/2024 16:44

Reminders app on an iPhone. You can just write simple lists and choose to share with others. You would both be able to see the lists and free

TwistedSisters · 23/11/2024 16:47

Microsoft to do does this.

You can make it complicated by adding reminders etc but you don't have to .

Our shopping list is literally just a tick list that's shared.
