Where to holiday in February with a 6 year old?

I have a week off for Feb half term and want to take DS6 abroad.

Usual sunshine holiday places seem to be cold around that time.

I'd love to do a city break, but unsure if DS would be bored?

Does anyone please have any child-friendly destinations that are good to visit in April?

February - not April!

Short haul or long haul? Approx budget? Do you have any particular interests or hobbies you'd like to tie into a holiday?

Ideally short haul, due to only having a week off. But would be open to longer.

Budget below £1500.

Nothing specific in mind, it'll just be me and DS.

Six is a good age for Disney if that's up your street - Disney Paris, in the cheaper hotels, for 4 days would be within budget. Or you get more for your money staying in the places a shuttle bus ride away. Not too far to travel.

Tui has a search for holiday suggestions within a set budget, you could try whacking your dates and costs into that and just see what sort of places come up. You might rule most of them out but good for brainstorming.
