Made this in a rush yesterday and it's not tasty/watery, how can i fix it today? Thinking to remove mash, redo the mince, then plonk mash back on top!

I'd remove the mash, heat it up, add in some gravy granules until it thickens and then whack the mash back on top. Then pop in the oven for a bit.

How about remove a corner of the mash, drain the wateryness, then make a thick, tasty beef gravy pour it into the mince. Then replace the corner of mash?

Did you pour off the juices while you were browning the mince? As others have said, I'd take off the potato and make up some thick gravy and mix it in with the mince.
