Hello bargain lovers,

Black Friday is just over a week away (its official date is the 29th November) and most retailers have already started slashing prices. Today Amazon have launched their Black Friday sale and the deals are coming in thick and fast.

We thought we’d set up this thread so we can share the best savings our expert deal hunters find - and we’d love for you to share your biggest discounts and best buys here too.

Whether you’re ticking off your Christmas list, shopping for home essentials or looking to treat yourself, we’ve got you covered.

MNHQ get early access to Black Friday deals from a whole heap of retailers, and we’ve been busy cross-referencing the best deals with products Mumsnetters recommend most highly - from air fryers to LEGO, and heated throws to vacuum cleaners - so we can bring you the genuinely valuable savings (and leave out the rest). We’ll be updating this thread all week with the latest deals as they happen.

We’re also comparing prices on camelcamelcamel where possible, to ensure the offers are authentic and as good as they seem.

We know not everyone loves Black Friday, but if you’re looking to snap up a bargain during the biggest sale event of the year, you’re in the right place.
If there’s something specific you’re shopping for, post your requests here and our dedicated team of bargain-hunters will be on the case.

💸 Todays’ top Black Friday deals on Mumsnetter-approved products:

Happy shopping,
MNHQ 💐

Note: Mumsnet has some affiliate links, so purchases through our posts may earn us a small share (more details here). Recommended deals might get linked for user convenience. Prices are accurate when posted.

Any deals on pan sets, frying pans saucepans etc. please.
Our last purchase from pro cook just haven't lasted. Looking for something that's clean/healthy to cook in and isn't going to release chemicals into food as we're cooking too.
TIA!

@OttersAreMySpiritAnimal I've found a couple of good-quality, toxin-free pans in the sales:

Our Place have got £50 off a couple of their very good looking pans: the Always Pan is now £80 and the Perfect Pot is £90

Ninja always come highly recommended, their Extended Life Ceramic Cookware 7-Piece Bundle is now £220, down from £320

@PollyMumsnet I'm looking for a Suri toothbrush and a Shark Flexstyle pretty please, and possibly a handheld steam cleaner.

Your wish is my command @Fuckingfuckssake 😁

Suri Toothbrushes are £56 at both Boots and Amazon, down from £75

Looks like there are a few different models of the Shark Flexstyle, all discounted at Boots plus you get £10 worth of points for every £60 spent 👌

Are you after a purely handheld steam cleaner or one that can be used as an upright too? Here are some deals for both kinds:

Shark Floor & Handheld Steam Cleaner S6005UK, was £200, now £120

Vax Steam Fresh Combi Classic Mutlifunction Steam Mop, was £150, now £74

... I've also spotted this Tower T134000BLG Corded Handheld Steam Cleaner, a bargain at just £20 ✨

Morning everyone! Anyone seen any good deals on an iPhone SE? My DW’s iPhone 8 is on the way out. I’d consider refurbished but I don’t know about battery life 🤞🏽🙏🏽👑

Morning @OhHyphenEn 👋there don't appear to be any deals on the new iPhone SE, but I found the following refurb deals:

First up, this one's a contract with just £9 upfront cost, then £17 per month: Apple iPhone SE (3rd Gen) 64GB Midnight Refurbished - Excellent Condition

If your DW prefers SIM-free, this Argos have knocked £20 off this one for Black Friday: SIM Free Refurbished iPhone SE 2020 64GB Mobile Phone, Black, was £190, now £170

Could someone recommend me a good value rice cooker? I need one with a delayed start timer function only (hoping these exist?) Thanks for any Mn wisdom!

Great question @FreshLaundry, I've found a few good deals on rice cookers with delay timers in different sizes:

Yum Asia Panda Mini Rice Cooker, 0.63l, was £130, now £85

Lakeland Digital Rice Cooker 1L, was £50, now £35

... and lastly this is a multicooker, so it can cook rice as well as bake, steam, slow cook, etc: TEFAL Turbo Cuisine CY754840 Multicooker, 10l, was £150, now £80

Hi @PollyMumsnet - are there any good deals on Oral B electric toothbrushes?

Also, having dropped my laptop one too many times, I am looking for a new one. I prefer a 2 in 1 and, in an ideal world, with a touchscreen. (I don’t want a Chromebook). Any suggestions?

Thanks

Ooh yes to the toothbrush @IlovePond - this one has a whopping 65% off:

Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush, was £100, now £35

What's your budget for a laptop? I'll see what I can find🔍

@PollyMumsnet - thanks for the brush info.

Re: laptop, no more than £500, (which I know is asking a lot!) Curry’s had one for £399, but it’s out of stock almost everywhere and unavailable for delivery !)

Thabks

I've noticed some great deals starting to sell out too! Not sure which brand and model you saw on Currys, but I've managed to find this one on the Lenovo website, which has good reviews and might be suitable:

Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 Gen 9 (14" Intel), was £640, now £480
