Foster care

Hi im struggling to manage my 12 year old behaviour.

He's abusive verbally and physically. He suspended every week from school because of his volatile behaviour. I have zero support from his dad, which isn't helping and my other children are afraid of him
It a nutshell he makes life here hell. He says I don't try hard enough when I go beyond for him and he says he doesnt want to be here. And as horrible as it sounds I no longer want him here.

Can I place him in voluntary care? I think a residential placement would be best for him because his behaviour is beyond.

Does anyone also have similar experience. No judgement please. I'm crying already as I'm writing this

Thank you

What support have you already had, have you had any family support?

Hi op,
are there Sen needs? EHCP? Could residential school be an option?

have you reached out to early help/ social services? assuming in UK.

with that level of behaviour what are school suggesting?

is dad around? Live with you? Would he agree?

are there any extended family who could care for him? Even temporary?

to get a child placed in foster care is not easy.
