Can any Knitters help me identify this wool?

I bought a massive ball of wool from Hobbycraft a year ago and started to make DH a jumper - ran out. When I went back they don’t seem to have this wool any more. Unfortunately I have lost the band with the brand name.

It was a huge ball, advertised as enough for a jumper, Aran weight. It’s sort of flecked, I got cream and purple; it’s the purple I need more of. Can anyone help me identify the brand please?

Have you got a pic?

You could try taking a photo of a section of the wool and doing a reverse image search?

Woolcraft do 400g balls of yarn, could it be something by them?

Or Sidar Hayfield in Purple Heather from your description?

Have you looked to see if it's on their website?

Hobbycraft don’t do it any more. That Sirdar one looks perfect from the online picture - thank you Brave! Will see if I can find that in RL to check

Your description just made it pop into my mind, I made a very ugly jumper with it a few years ago (my fault it was ugly, not the yarn) and a much nicer scarf with what I had left.

Hope it’s what you need and you manage to find some!

The Sirdar was the one, thank you so much!!
