A week in and still feeling full of snot! Currently can't hear properly, tired and have a constant headache. At least the coughing has reduced. DH is currently a bit sulky he had now caught it too Blush. I haven't felt so rubbish is ages but also have too much work to do to crawl back into bed!

Not has the cold constantly but I’ve been ill almost 3 weeks with varying lost voice, earache, aches, chills, sore throat, headache, sore skin, cough, exhausted. It’s utterly shit. Both kids with similar and one was hospitalised with it. It’s got to end eventually.

Hope you feel better soon.

They're calling it "The 100 day cough". They were talking about it on TV this morning.

All I can suggest is that you make sure you have an annual flu jab. Sorry you feel so shit.

I thought the 100 day cough was another term for whooping cough? I had that earlier in the year and it took ages to clear up.

My DD has had a horrible cold and cough for three weeks now but it's definitely a cold and not whooping cough- loads of mucus and needs to blow her nose constantly.
