It looks lovely, and more special because it’s personal. Was it painful to have down your spine?

Libra scales, Taurus, Libra, Aquarius
Two of my kids of Libra annoyingly 😆 so I had the scales and then the zodiac symbol!

Thank you. And it wasn't too bad to be honest , the top was very tender but the rest really wasn't painful, more scratchy. Inner wrist is the worst place imo

Absolutely gorgeous! Really nice detail too, especially on the flowers. I bet you're chuffed! Oh you need a backless dress for Christmas! How are you finding the afterpain? Can you get comfy?

I have a botanical half sleeve, got a new bit coming down onto my hand the other day, and plan for New Year is up the rest of the arm! Spine scares me a bit but I'm pleased you said it isn't too bad!
Inner wrist is the worst, definitely.

And lower calf. I nearly screamed, and I was fine with all the rest.

I also have jasmine flowers in lots of mine. My favourite flower!

Oh go away, you miserable person. It looks amazing and so does she.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 18/11/2024 20:01

Why have you had a tattoo somewhere you can't see it?

I absolutely love feminine flowery tattoos, I have a kind of half sleeve on my inner forearm, peonies and lilies. Yours sounds lovely! How did you find the hand? I have a henna design on my hand which is fairly recent, but surprisingly I didn't think it hurt !

I've read alot how calf is agonising! I really want one on my thigh but not sure I'd be brave enough...

Atm it's fine but I'm not looking forward to the itching, think I'll be like a bear up a tree 😆

That is beautiful. Also well done on the weight loss. I would love a tatoo, but Im not brave enough.

Thank you !! Honestly they're really not that bad. I know everyone is different but if you've had children especially it's fuck all! Like a cat scratch, which admittedly is painful but it's that's stingy sort of pain

Oh that sounds beautiful! Lilies are so perfect for tattooing, so much detail to pick up on, I bet it's stunning! I love feminine flowery ones too, if you get the right artist (like you have!), they're so pretty. I found the hand fine! It didn't hurt at all, a bit of a pinch when she first began but then it just faded. Does the henna design last? I've not looked into them!

Haha, I also had a thigh one the other day! Honestly did not hurt whatsoever, too much meat there for it to be too painful, whereas calf is all muscle so it stings. I stupidly got a fully shaded in one there and I was shocked by how painful that was. Although I'd do it again! It's not the kind of pain you keep thinking about if that makes sense?

Have you got second skin or are you air healing? I usually air heal myself but I'm considering second skin when I get my sternum done because I know it'll drive me bonkers. 😂

nmecnge · 19/11/2024 06:42

@GiddyRobin Annoyingly it has healed very slightly faded on the left side of my hand, but I think it's because the hand is so mobile, there is alot of movement there isn't there, aftercare wise I was good so I think it's just one of those things with a hand tattoo! I should get it touched up at some point...

Ooh what're you getting on your sternum? I really want a sternum tattoo but think I need to lose some more weight first as I wouldn't exactly want to show it off atm 😆 no never had second skin! My husband has but to be honest it seemed more of a faff than the usual air healing, his was on his fingers though so it worked for him especially as he works with his hands.
